 Hey hey ^-^

Need to talk a little about the Kinder Beauty Box for November. I know it’s a little bit of a late post, but it’ll probably be fast.

This has been an amazing Kinder box, even though I gave two of the five items away. The other three have just been amazing and I want to give them shout outs.

So the ones I gave away weren’t even because I didn’t want them, just because they wouldn’t work for me or I knew I wouldn’t use them.

One of the items I’m giving away is the Coastin’ Illuminating Highlighter by a brand called Jazmine Beauty. No shade to this brand, I’m sure they’re great, but this highlighter would be ideal for someone several shades deeper than I am. It’s also very rosy toned. Feels like it would be a good sparkling blush on someone with my winter skin and I didn’t even bother to swatch it because I didn’t want to ruin it.

The ingredients looked good, the packaging is cute, I really wish it had been a shade I could use. I thought about keeping it and trying it out as an eye color, or just for the inner corner, but I honestly don’t want a whole highlighter in my vanity just for one shade I already probably have.

The other item I gave away was a hand cream. I just don’t use hand creams, I never will, it’s just not something I think about. But I have a coworker who needed one so I gave it away. If I hear anything I’ll update. The package was covered in French and had a French name and I figured maybe someone else could use some French in their lives?

Okay so – the products I’ve kept ^-^ I’ll save my favorite for last. First one is the High Potency Retinol Serum from the brand LilyAna Naturals. This box sends so many items from brands called Naturals. Wow, it’s natural. Okay.

Anyway I do really like this product. First, the packaging is very pretty. Reminds me of like kitchen tiling, the white and blue and all that. The vibes are just really good.

The formula itself is white and much thicker than my other retinol serum. It’s like milky and honestly takes a little too long to absorb. Something in it is heavier than most other serums I use.

This, along with the fact that it’s a retinol serum and more suited for nighttime use, is why I have only been using it before bed.

So like I said it’s heavy, it’s one of those formulas that you actually have to wait for. But it feels nice going on and the dropper for the bottle is much more efficient than other ones I’ve tried.

I probably won’t go out of my way to purchase it again since it is so heavy, but it is something I’ll use up for evenings, and if my skin feels dry.

The next item is a cute little bar of soap. I don’t use bars of soap. I haven’t since I was a small kid, and I was disappointed to find one in my box, initially. But I was like you know what, I don’t have any body wash right now, whatever, let’s just try it out and use it up. It’s a little bar, my loofah will eat it up.

So I was wrong – about all of that.

The packaging is basically like any bar of soap, a little piece of paper with the branding. Getting it off, the actual soap bar is a deep brown, caramel-looking color. But what was exciting about it was that it was an exfoliating bar of soap! And not just like oh yeah there’s some bits in – thing was absolutely bursting with the little scratchy things. Like a crunch bar or something.

I was really thrilled about this because I currently don’t have a body scrub and have been wanting to exfoliate my body, and this was the perfect chance.

So it’s not super gentle, like this thing didn’t mess around. It felt amazing on my legs and arms, and it was easier to scrub the backs of my thighs with it too since it wasn’t just washing down the drain like a regular scrub would.

I also liked the smell very much, it was like a little sweet but subtle, like a musk type thing?

So I love this, I’m glad I gave it a try. Wish it was a bigger bar, cause I’m only going to get a few showers out of it.

Also it did foam up my loofah very well when I tried that.

And my favorite item from November’s box is the Cuccio Somatology Pause Meditation Mist. This is a brand I’ve tried once before and was so unhappy with. I hated the last product I tried from them, hated it so much.

But I can’t say enough how much I love this stuff. I took it with me to work to just sage the whole place in between bitchy customers.

So it’s a great spray bottle, makes a fine mist, smells like sage and peppermint. It’s refreshing AF.

And that’s all! I am still – halfway through December – waiting to receive even a single one of my December boxes. The tracking numbers haven’t been updated in days, I’m not sure what the next move is. I’ve especially been upset about an order I placed from BoxyCharm that has my advent calendar in it >.> So I’m halfway through the month and I’m supposed to be waist deep in these products. They shipped several weeks ago.

But I’ll update when I get everything!! ^-^
